What -to-Read Decision Fatigue & Relishing the Ridiculous

Just wanted to pop in and update you on a few things.

First, if you missed my last post, I’ve moved my newsletter to Substack. The good news is that you can view it online before subscribing to see if it’s your jam. Also, it lets you leave comments like a blog post! I have a new letter over there today about Relishing the Ridiculous: Bonkers romance plots, Hallmark-style movies, and the gift of not having to be so serious all the time.

You can read the whole thing for free here!

There’s also a new episode of RAD Reading out today. We’re talking about What-to-Read Decision fatigue and how to read those Amazon and Goodreads reviews because not all is as it seems. :)

Listen in your favorite podcast app:

I’m also offering a free download of the TBR spreadsheet I use to keep track of recommendations and why I wanted to read something in the first place. Just scroll down in that post I linked to and you can grab that in the show notes.

And in case you missed it, Crash Into You, my very first novel and the start of The Loving on the Edge series is on sale for $2.99 in ebook. It’s usually $15.99 in ebook, y’all, so grab it. Book 2, Melt Into You, is also on deep discount at $5.99!

That’s all for now. Have a great weekend!

BOOK RELEASE DAY: The One For You is here!

Loren_OneForYou_3D.jpg

It’s been a year since one of the Long Acre ladies had a story, but Kincaid’s story is finally here! The One For You is the fourth and final book in The Ones Who Got Away series. I’m so excited for this release because Kincaid and Ash were SO FUN to write. I mean, Kincaid was a joy to write from the start of the series, but then Ash came along—bookish, wry, harboring all the feels. I love all my heroes, but Ash just got to me in a different way. I can’t wait to hear what you think of their story.

I’ll be sad to close the chapter on this series. I feel attached to these characters and this world very deeply, and I totally cried writing the final chapter of this one lol. But I’m happy that all four of these characters now have their happily ever after.

Thank you for being patient for this story and for reading the series. I hope this one was worth the wait!

About the book:

The highly-anticipated fourth book in Roni Loren's unforgettable The Ones Who Got Away series.

She got a second chance at life.
Will she take a second chance at love?

Kincaid Breslin wasn't supposed to survive that fateful night at Long Acre when so many died, including her boyfriend—but survive she did. She doesn't know why she got that chance, but now she takes life by the horns and doesn't let anybody stand in her way

Ashton Isaacs was her best friend when disaster struck all those years ago, but he chose to run as far away as he could. Now fate has brought him back to town, and Ash doesn't know how to cope with his feelings for Kincaid and his grief over their lost friendship. For Ash has been carrying secrets, and he knows that once Kincaid learns the truth, he'll lose any chance he might have had with the only woman he's ever loved.
